Jennifer + Lucas | DeLille Cellars Wedding in Woodinville, Washington

//

I cannot believe summer is here. The off season flew by.

I started this wedding season in January, but it wasn't until Memorial Day weekend when it went strong. This summer season started with Jennifer and Lucas's wedding at DeLille Cellars in Woodinville, Washington. And it totally felt like a fairytale. From her headpiece, her dress and all the way down to her perfect Jimmy Choo shoes all the way to the delicious florals and gold accents of the reception. It was a marvelous day, put together with the finest details.

Not only that but they cut their cake with a sword from World War II. Like, guys, how epic is that?! I enjoy being a part of every wedding and seeing all the different traditions that people choose to have as part of their day. Especially cultural traditions. With Lucas being Polish, they intertwined several traditions from his culture into the day, from breaking delicious bread together as husband and wife, everyone singing a Polish song during the toasts, to both of them having to take a shot together (one cup being only water and the other straight vodka!) - a fun tradition to decide who's going to wear the pants in the marriage. (haha)

I don't know about you all, but I firmly believe the men may wear the pants, but the women totally pick them out!

This was a beautiful day, one that only photographs can interpret. Enjoy their wedding story!
