Katy + Eric | Houston Oaks Engagement Session

I don’t blog too many engagement sessions - as a matter of fact, I don’t blog too much in general. This year I’m trying to put a little more effort into blogging my couple’s journeys more. I think the hardest part about it is choosing the photos! I’m a very indecisive person (just witness me at a drive thru and you’ll get it)

Between the months of March and April I was gone for 21 days. Almost a full month, and during those 21 days I did some pretty killer weddings and engagement sessions, that DEFINITELY need to be blogged. So to start, I wanted to share Katy and Eric’s beautiful golden hour engagement session at one of the prettiest locations in Houston, Texas. The Houston Oaks Country Club - which ironically enough, these two will be getting married at! The property is ONE THOUSAND acres SOOOO plenty of little nooks and stunning locations throughout the whole property.

We cracked a lot of jokes, had a lot of laughs and drank some delicious alcoholic beverages out of styrofoam cups (classy I know) while we cruised the property looking for the best lighting opportunities. I’m so stoked to have these two as one of my couples for 2020. Their wedding will be so much fun considering how well their engagement session went.
